Finca de Veragua's vineyards are located in Valdepeñas, municipality with a great wine tradition,in the south of "La Mancha" and also famous for his cheese and olive oils.
Sir Miguel de Cervantes in his book "Don Quijote" used to make this link between the cheese and the region, and there are numerous of testimonies about the excellence of these dishes. When appears the "fine dining guide" of Dionisio Pérez in 1929 , he says that "in listing this abundance (refering to the best dishes from Spain) how could we forget the most famous cheese from Spain that is the "Manchego" and the red and white wines that made so glorious the name of Valdpeñas in the world.
